Queensland and Canterbury star Dylan Napa has declared himself fit to take part in Origin II, despite suffering a broken wrist last weekend.

The 26-year-old picked up the injury un Sunday’s 38-12 defeat to former club Sydney. However, he is being given every chance to play on Sunday after consulting Maroons doctor Matt Hislop.

Napa was on the bench for the opening game of this year’s State of Origin series at Suncorp Stadium, helping his side to a comeback victory over New South Wales.

Queensland would reclaim the Origin title with a victory at Perth’s Optus Stadium. They have won it in 11 of the last 13 years, but suffered a 2-1 series defeat to Brad Fittler’s side last time out.

Ahead of Sunday’s game, Napa said there was no doubt he would play, adding: “I just have to take it day by day but I played the whole game on Sunday with it. It is another hurdle but one I believe I can get over.”
