North Wales have signed utility-back Dante Morley-Samuels from fellow League 1 side Coventry.

The 20-year-old picked up the Young Player of the Year award in his first year with the Bears, earning a new deal ahead of the 2019 campaign.

However, travelling to the Midlands has become an issue for the Wigan-based youngster and he has now joined the Crusaders for the rest of the season.

Crusaders coach Anthony Murray said: “We’re pleased to bring in Dante as he’ll give us more options across the backline.

“He’s a young, promising player and had an excellent season with Coventry last year.

“I’m looking forward to seeing what he can offer us for the remainder of 2019.”

Morley-Samuels will come into contention for Crusaders’ Good Friday derby with West Wales Raiders.
