Championship Audio: Henderson reflects on Rochdale win and top two finish

London Broncos confirmed a top two finish in the Kingstone Press Championship thanks to a 58-18 win over Rochdale Hornets at the Crown Oil Arena.

The Broncos raced to an 18-0 lead after 15 minutes before being pegged back to 18-12 and then 24-18.

Rochdale scored tries through Jake Eccleston, Lewis Foster and Rob Massam with Danny Yates kicking three goals after Andrew Ackers, Jarrod Sammut and Alex Walker scored first for the Broncos. Sammut added a second with Matty Davies and Lewis Bienek scoring before the break.

Six goals from Sammut opened a 36-18 half-time advantage and he kicked three more in the second half.

After Rhys Williams opened second half scoring, Rochdale held their own until the last 15 minutes when further tries from Walker, Ben Evans and Ackers secured the win.
