Catalans coach Laurent Frayssinous is resting six key players, including Todd Carney, for Sunday’s Challenge Cup sixth round clash against Featherstone.

Carney’s half-back partner Scott Dureau, hooker Ian Henderson, the in-form Ben Garcia, Zeb Taia and Jason Baitieri have all been given the weekend off.

Vincent Duport and Ben Pomeroy both miss out through injury.

Stan Robin, Jeff Lima, Antoni Maria and Gadwin Springer have all been called in to the squad, with young hooker Joan Guasch set to make his first appearance of the season.

Tony Gigot is also set to make his second debut for the club, having re-joined this week following spells with London Broncos and Cronulla Sharks in the NRL.

The 24-year-old made 22 Super League appearances for the Dragons in 2010 and 2011.

Catalans 19-man squad: Escare, Tonga, Oldfield, Elima, Casty, Anderson, Mounis, Bosc, Lima, Pelissier, Whitehead, Cardace, Bousquet, Springer, Maria, Guasch, Robin, Yaha, Gigot.
