Bulls and Wildcats picked for TV

Bradford Bulls and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats will host televised games in the fifth round of the Carnegie Challenge Cup after being handed plum ties in the draw for the last 16 of Rugby League’s oldest and most prestigious knockout competition.

Wakefield, 50-10 victors over Doncaster in the fourth round, have been paired with derby rivals Castleford Tigers in a fifth round tie that will be played in front of the BBC Television cameras on Saturday May 21 (2.30pm). Castleford reached the fifth round with a 72-10 win at Rochdale.

On Sunday May 22, the BBC TV cameras will be at Grattan Stadium to broadcast the Bradford Bulls v Wigan Warriors tie (3.30pm). Bradford booked their place in the fifth round by defeating Halifax 46-34 in a televised tie earlier today whilst Wigan were comfortable 52-0 winners against Barrow Raiders.
