Brett Ferres is set to play his first game of the season on Friday while Huddersfield have been hit by injuries.

Leeds coach Brian McDermott has made just one change to his Leeds side that fell short to Castleford Tigers last week. Brett Ferres is set to return for the first time since the 2017 Super League Grand Final after recovering from knee surgery. He replaces Jack Ormondroyd in the squad.

Chris Thorman has been forced to make five changes to the Huddersfield side that were heavily beaten at Wigan last week. Jermaine McGillvary, Sam Wood, Lee Gaskell, Kruise Leeming and Dale Ferguson are all injured. They are replaced by Tyler Dickinson, Jared Simpson, Sam Hewitt, Louis Senior and Oliver Roberts.

The Super League clash takes place at the John Smith’s Stadium on Good Friday, 3pm kick-off.
