Barrow forward handed two-match ban

Barrow forward Jono Smith faces a two-match ban for a Grade C dangerous contact charge handed to him by the match review panel.

The utility man will miss two games for the Raiders.

Elsewhere, Rochdale half-back James Barran received a two-match penalty notice for a Grade C dangerous throw, while Dewsbury forward Michael Knowles was given two-match ban for a Grade C shoulder charge.

The match review panel gave Halifax man Ed Barber a one-match penalty notice for Grade A punching, while Keighley duo Steven Hayes and Josh Smith received one-game suspensions for a Grade B dangerous lift and Grade B high tackle respectively.

Jack Arnold of Keighley has been charged with a Grade E gouging offence and his case has been referred to a tribunal.

Sheffield forward Brad Knowles-Tagg has had his Grade D dangerous throw charge also referred to a tribunal.
