Catalans prop Antoni Maria has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

The 32-year-old made 15 appearances for the Dragons in 2019 after enjoying a six-match spell on loan at Hull KR. He has earned nine caps for France.

Maria said: “I am really proud to wear the Catalans jersey and to play for this club and I’m happy to stay here for one more season.

“I am now looking forward to start the pre-season with the team to prepare the 2020 season.”

Catalans coach Steve McNamara added: “Antoni finished 2019 strongly for us.

“His determination and passion to respond after a difficult start to the year has seen us reward him with a new deal.”
