Wakefield have unveiled their home shirt for next season.

Trinity have gone for a more traditional look with their home strip for next year, with it being a modern version of the shirt they donned in 1963 Challenge Cup final.

Wakefield beat Wigan 25-10 in the final in front of a crowd of 84,492 at Wembley Stadium in 1963.

The new shirt features a blue and red ‘V’ on a predominantly white shirt, which has a collar on this time.

Wakefield winger Tom Johnstone said: “To wear the red, white and blue is special every time.

“I’m counting down the days until I can pull on the 2020 jersey.”
