Whitehaven extend loan of Jake Carter

Whitehaven have extended the loan of Jake Carter from Barrow for the next six weeks.

Carter has impressed since joining Haven on loan last month, making his debut in their Good Friday derby win over Cumbrian rivals Workington.

The half-back’s loan has been extended until June 30, so he is available for the club’s next six League 1 fixtures.

Carter will be available for Whitehaven’s upcoming matches against North Wales (2), London Skolars, (2) Coventry and Newcastle.
