Following Cutsyke Raidettes’ recent entry to League One, the club have joined forces with Castleford in a dual-registration deal.

This partnership will allow Castleford to maintain a large squad and give a lot more playing time to some of the youngsters.

Castleford Women coach Lindsay Anfield said: “We are extremely pleased to have formally formed this partnership between Castleford Tigers Women and Cutsyke.

“A large squad is needed to be competitive in the Women’s Super League however, this also means that some girls don’t get a lot of time on the field.

Cutsyke’s chairman Paul Watson believes that the agreement between both clubs builds a clear pathway for players. He said: “I feel that this structured partnership between the two clubs will be mutually beneficial.

“In our first year stepping up into League One, we will benefit from the support of the Tigers and hopefully we can support them by being a competitive club ourselves; we want to be a key feeder of a Women’s Super League team.”
