Catalans Dragons’ England winger Tom Davies has signed a three-year contract that will keep him with the French club until the end of 2024.

The 24-year-old joined the Dragons on a two-year deal ahead of the 2020 season and has so far scored 21 tries in 20 appearances, form that earned him a place in the England team for the mid-season clash with the Combined Nations All Stars.

“I’m very happy to extend my time here at the Dragons,” Davies said. “I love it here at the club and as a region.

“I’m very lucky to be surrounded by a load of not only great team-mates but great friends as well and a great coaching staff too.

“It’s a group I’m proud to be a part of and I hope I can help deliver success on the field in my time here.”

Davies was in the Wigan team that won the Super League Grand Final in 2018 but sustained an ankle injury in April 2019 that sidelined him for 16 months.

Catalans coach Steve McNamara said: “Tom has been outstanding for our team and club since he joined. His energy, desire and commitment are second to none.”
