Wigan prop Ben Flower has lost his appeal against a two-match ban.
An independent tribunal on Tuesday night upheld the punishment handed out by the Rugby Football League’s match review panel, who found the Wales international guilty of a Grade B dangerous tackle on Hull KR forward George Lawler during last Thursday’s Super League defeat.
Flower, who denied the charge, was also fined £500.
Earlier, Hull FC forward Ligi Sao accepted a match review panel decision to issue a one-match suspension for a dangerous tackle on Warrington half-back Dec Patton.
