Widnes have signed Warrington duo Sam Wilde and Jack Johnson on loan for four weeks.
Second rower Wilde made his Warrington debut in July 2015 in a home win over Wigan and has since made 18 first-team appearances including last year’s Grand Final at Old Trafford.
He has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Wire this season.
Full-back Johnson (above) made his first-team debut at home to Hull in September 2015 and has gone on to make 11 appearances including four in 2017.
Widnes’ boss Denis Betts said: “We are pleased to have secured Sam and Jack at a time when we are facing injury challenges and need additional cover.
“Both players are talented, have a number of positive playing qualities and will enhance the squad during their time here.
“I would like to thank Warrington Wolves for their support with these loan moves.”
