Whitehaven home games to be played on Saturday

Whitehaven have confirmed that their home fixtures in the Super 8s section of the season will be played on Saturday evenings.

Haven are in the Championship Shield section of the Super 8s, with three home games, against Hunslet, Doncaster and London Broncos.

Saturday evening kick-offs may also be used next season, a club spokesman confirmed.

“Next season we will continue with our re-organisation and Saturday evening kick offs may well be part of that new strategy,” he said.

“Along with other initiatives that will go hand in hand with taking the club forward.”
