Wheeler out for a month

Young St Helens prospect Gary Wheeler has been ruled out for a month with a calf injury.

Wheeler, 18, has made 11 appearances for Saints this season, scoring eight tries and has played in a variety of positions, including centre and wing.

He will now be undergoing intense physio to recover from the injury and a Saints spokesman said they are looking forward to welcoming him back into the first team in a month’s time.
