Wests Tigers have signed back-rower Ryan Matterson on a three-year deal.
The 23-year-old will join the Tigers ahead of the 2019 season and will remain at the club until at least the end of 2021.
Matterson has made 57 first-grade appearances since making his debut for the Roosters in 2016.
Wests coach Ivan Cleary thinks the signing of the back-rower is a big coup for the club.
He said: “Ryan is a talented young man and we’re very pleased to have him join the club next season.
“He has developed in to a quality forward since his debut and we’re looking forward to seeing him grow further at Wests Tigers over the next three years.”
Matterson has made one appearance for City Origin.
