West Wales have signed Ronny Palumbo, Liam Clark and Dai Evans for the 2019 season.

Utility-forward Palumbo arrives from the New South Wales Cup, having previously been on the books at Manly Sea Eagles and Wests Tigers. He represented the Mediterranean rugby league side in the recent Emerging Nations World Championship.

Full-back Clark joins the Raiders from Wynnum Manly, where he has spent the last four years playing in the Queensland Cup.

Winger Evans is a Wales international, who helped them qualify for the World Cup back in 2016. He has also had a stint with South Wales Scorpions, scoring six in 11 games.

On signing the trio, Raiders’ coach Kim Williams said: “Ronny will be an enormous asset for the Raiders in season 2019.

“He is a very experienced player who has a proven record of winning Premierships in high quality competitions.

“Liam has a natural speed and great footwork and I expect him to compete very strongly for a position in our top 17 come round one.

“Dai is another high-quality signing four our team who adds even more depth to our back-line. He is a genuine try-scorer with great pace and I am very excited to welcome him back to rugby league.”
