Warrington squad hit further with star forward suspended

Warrington will be without star prop forward Paul Vaughan for their trip to the Totally Wicked Stadium due to a one-match suspension.
Vaughan, 31, has been hit with a Grade B dangerous contact charge following the side’s first defeat of the season.
It piles more pressure on Daryl Powell’s squad, who are already without the likes of Joe Philbin (suspension), Gil Dudson (suspended) Joe Bullock (injury) and James Harrison (injury).
Philbin, 28, will serve the second of his two-match ban this Thursday as the Super League leaders face St Helens.
Warrington boss Powell was forced to name two outside-backs in Greg Minikin and Matty Russell on his bench against Wigan last Friday, while academy captain Lucas Green made his debut.
Daryl Clark also made an early return from injury and featured in the pack from the interchange bench as the side fell to a 13-6 defeat at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Wakefield hooker Liam Hood will also miss the next two matches due to two incidents during the side’s 32-0 loss to Leigh.
The Scotland international has been hit with two separate Grade B dangerous contact charges, with each carrying a one-match suspension.
Wakefield travel to Wigan this Sunday and face Warrington after the international break.
A total of 16 players have been charged during the latest round of Super League action.
