Warrington plan big money Myler swoop

Warrington are set to launch a £300,000 raid on Salford for star scrum half Richard Myler.

The Wolves, who won a place in the Challenge Cup Final with a win at Wigan over the weekend, will use the cash windfall of their Wembley trip to fund a deal for the country’s hottest prospect.

Myler, 19, has been a revelation in his debut season in Super League and notched a record-breaking haul for England in the mid-season international against France.

Warrington boss Tony Smith is keen on the youngster and, having worked with him at international level, Myler is keen to join up with the former Leeds and Huddersfield coach.

Salford are resigned to losing Myler, along with fellow young star Jordan Turner, who is set to move to Hull FC.
