Wales Rugby League to undergo rebrand

Correspondent

Wales Rugby League is to be rebranded over the course of 2016 and is seeking feedback from stakeholders as to the direction in which they should head.

The rebrand is to take place in the Autumn of this year, just before Wales come up against Serbia and Italy in crucial qualifying games for the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.

The reason for the rebrand is to bring Wales Rugby League into an exciting new era as they continue to turn Wales into a competitive rugby league nation.

A short presentation has been produced by Wales Rugby League to explore themes and to generate discussion and ideas to take to designers and specialists during the latter stages of the rebranding in 2016.

The presentation covers aspects such as Welsh symbolism, the Welsh logo’s, the dragon and the National Governing Body logos, as well as Wales Rugby League as a whole.

Wales Rugby League invite comments and feedback into its rebranding from anyone and these should be sent to chris.thair@walesrugbyleague.co.uk or ian.golden@walesrugbyleague.co.uk before March 20th 2016.
