Wakefield have signed Warrington winger Chris Riley on a four-week loan deal.

Riley, 26, has sat out the Wolves’ past two Super League matches, although turned out for Championship side Swinton on dual-registration last weekend.

He goes straight in to the Wildcats’ 19-man squad for Sunday’s game against Catalan.

Wakefield coach Richard Agar said: “We have injuries and suspensions in the backs so his experience will really help us out over the next month and he will bring a lot of energy to our team.”

Last season, Riley scored 19 tries in 33 appearances for Warrington, as they reached the Super League Grand Final.
