Pauli Pauli has been ruled out for two to three months after damaging his posterior cruciate ligament.

The 24-year-old damaged his posterior cruciate ligament in Wakefield’s game against Newcastle Thunder.

Scans on Monday revealed the extend of the damage and following the consultations with an orthopaedic knee specialist, Pauli will be sidelined for two to three months.

Pauli has been placed in a knee brace for the first three to four weeks. Following the removal of this brace he can begin his rehabilitation with the medical staff who hope to have him back as soon as possible.
