Wakefield centre Jack Croft suffers season-ending injury

Wakefield centre Jack Croft has suffered a season-ending injury whilst playing on loan at Oldham.

The 20-year-old joined Championship side Oldham on a season-long loan two weeks ago but has been dealt a major blow after sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament rupture whilst playing for the Roughyeds.

Croft will be sidelined for nine months, which rules him out for the rest of the 2021 campaign.

The Keighley-born centre has made 10 appearances for Wakefield since making his first team debut for the club back in 2019.
