Salford coach Ian Watson has been pleased with his team’s improved defence and wants to see more consistency in that area.

Salford take on Castleford at home tomorrow night. The Red Devils are coming off a loss to Huddersfield.

Watson said the break has done his side some good.

“We’ve had a real good two weeks to be fair preparation-wise,” he said.

“Your always keen to get out there and get playing after a loss. The boys are eager and ready to go on Friday.”

Watson said new signing Shaun Kenny could feature against the Tigers.
