Gold Coast Titans duo Preston Campbell and Luke Bailey have been named to make their anticipated returns from injury in the club’s opening finals encounter against the New Zealand Warriors at Skilled Park on Friday night.

In a significant boost for the side, Campbell (hamstring) has been named to make his comeback from a hamstring injury which has sidelined him for the past three weeks while Bailey is expected to make his return from a broken thumb which ruled him out of last week’s final-round win over the Wests Tigers.

Jetstar Titans captain Scott Prince (AC joint) has also been named and has declared himself a certain starter despite suffering a shoulder injury against the Tigers.

Jetstar Titans coach John Cartwright said a final decision on the fitness of Campbell and Bailey would be made at the club’s final training session in the lead-up to the Warriors clash at Skilled Park on Thursday morning.

Cartwright has named an extended 19-man squad with utility Luke O’Dwyer and winger Jordan Atkins included on a six-man interchange bench.

In other team changes, premiership winning forward Anthony Laffranchi pushes up from the back row to the front row while Greg Bird has been named to start in the back row.
