Tim Mannah hands in transfer request to Parramatta – reports

Parramatta co-captain Tim Mannah has asked for a release from the final year of his deal, according to reports Down Under.

The Lebanon international is set to join Wests Tigers before June 30, report NRL.com.

The Eels confirmed on Monday that he is seeking a release from the remainder of his contract with the club.

It comes a few weeks after Mannah was told by the Eels that he was unlikely to be part of Parramatta’s plans beyond the end of 2019.

The Tigers still have more than $100,000 to spend in this year’s salary cap thanks to Zane Musgrove’s exit from the club.

Wests coach Michael Maguire is keen to offload New Zealand international prop Russell Packer.
