Penrith have retained the services of winger Brad Tighe for a further two years.

Tighe, who joined the club in 2008 from Newcastle, recently celebrated his 100th NRL appearance and has become a fixture in the Panthers line-up.

He recently rejected a chance to follow five-eighth Wade Graham to Cronulla and instead took up an option to remain with the club until the end of 2012.

CEO Michael Leary was delighted with the news saying Brad has played some great football for the club and was an important part of the team for the future.

“Brad has shown himself to be a quality player since joining the club,” Leary said.

“He is an integral part of our team and I’m pleased we have been able to secure him for another 2 years.”
