Castleford Tigers have clinched the signing of the Hull FC threequarter, Kirk Dixon.

The Hessle based player was starring at Hull Ionians RUFC before he switched codes and joined Hull three years back. He has recently had a short-term loan with Premiership union side Northampton Saints. A good goal kicker, 22-year-old Kirk has made 11 Super League appearances for Hull this season (scoring 2 tries and kicking 4 goals) and made 5 in 2005 (4 tries).

Dixon return to Hull recently after a brief loan period in union with Northampton Saints.

Tigers football manager Mick Robinson said: "Kirk is another player with Super league experience who has a lot to offer us. He has good vision and is a real try poacher. He comes from a good environment at Hull and is keen to progress and to play regular first team football."
