Thorpe to rejoin Easts

Sheffield Eagles prop Steve Thorpe will rejoin Easts Tigers in the Queensland Cup next year.

Thorpe, who left the Tigers at the end of 2014 to join Sheffield, is set to return home to his former club in Brisbane.

The front-rower made a big impact in his two seasons at the Eagles and was named club captain in May.
