Championship outfit Swinton have announced the signing of Nico Rizzelli on a two-week loan deal from St Helens.
The 21-year-old signed from amateur side Rochdale Mayfield, and made his first-team debut in a defeat to Salford in 2020.
He becomes the second player to make a loan move from the Super League side, as Josh Eaves joins Wakefield on a short loan.
Saints Head Coach Kristian Woolf said: “It’s a great opportunity for both players to go and play some regular rugby league. It’s difficult circumstances for those guys because if they are not in our side, we can’t give them game time. It’s a chance for both to continue their development and its a real win for all clubs.”
