Drew Darbyshire

Toronto, Wigan and St Helens are keen on playing Australia next year, according to reports Down Under.

The three Super League clubs are expressed an interest in playing the Kangaroos on their tour of England in 2020, report NRL.com.

Leeds are also reported to be keen on the idea of taking on Mal Meninga’s side next year.

Meninga’s final Kangaroos tour as a player in 1994 was the last time Australia played against English clubs.

The tradition was canned when Super League in Britain switched from winter to summer rugby.

Details of Australia’s three-match test series against England next year are set to be announced shortly.
