Trio receive suspensions following Round 21 of Super League

Kaide Ellis (Wigan), Brad Fash (Hull) and James Bell (St Helens) have all received suspensions following Round 21 of Super League

Wigan’s Kaide Ellis, St Helens’ James Bell and Hull’s Brad Fash have received one-match suspensions following Round 21 of Super League action.

Australian prop Ellis, who has recently signed a new deal with the Warriors, has been given a one-match ban for a Grade B dangerous contact in their 64-6 defeat on Friday night.

As a result, Ellis won’t be able to play in Wigan’s next home match against Hull on Friday, August 18.

St Helens back-rower Bell has been handed a one-match ban also for Grade B dangerous contact, and will miss Sunday’s home game against Huddersfield Giants.

Meanwhile, Hull forward Brad Fash has been given a one-match suspension for Grade B other contrary behaviour. He’ll miss the Wigan match in a fortnight.

  • Joe Cator – Hull FC – Tripping – B – £250 Fine
  • Sam Lisone – Leeds Rhinos – Tripping – B – £250 Fine
  • Matt Davis – Leigh Leopards – High Tackle – B – £250 Fine
  • James Bell – St Helens – Dangerous Contact – B- 1 Match Penalty Notice
  • Daryl Clark – Warrington Wolves – Tripping – B – £250 Fine
  • Kaide Ellis – Wigan Warriors – Dangerous Contact – B – 1 Match Penalty Notice
