Catalans Dragons winger Tom Johnstone and Wigan Warriors flier Abbas Miski ended the regular season joint top of the Super League try-scoring charts with 27 apiece from the same number of rounds.

Sitting behind that pair on the leaderboard is Josh Charnley, with the Leigh Leopards speedster having crossed for 26 tries this term. None of the top three got over the whitewash in the final round.

Warrington Wolves captain Stefan Ratchford ends top where goals are concerned, kicking six on the final night at Huddersfield Giants to take his tally to 96 for the campaign.  Those goals also saw the veteran end the regular season top of the points scored column overall, with 200 exactly to his name.

Rhyse Martin comes second, with his seven-goal haul in Leeds Rhinos’ demolition of Castleford Tigers propelling him up to 194 points.

In the Championship, Halifax Panthers winger Lachlan Walmsley tops the try scoring charts with 36, with Featherstone Rovers’ Gareth Gale second having crossed 30 times this term. Despite sitting out their final game of the regular season, Toulouse Olympique half-back Jake Shorrocks ends as the top goal scorer in the division with 102 successful conversions.

Cory Aston kicked two in Sheffield Eagles’ Round 27 game against Bradford Bulls to end the year second on 96, and tops the overall points tally with 224, four more than Shorrocks.

Meanwhile in League 1, Doncaster beat North Wales Crusaders in the promotion play-off final last Sunday, and will play in the second tier next term for the first time since 2015. Dons ace Sam Smeaton ended the regular season top of the leaderboard for tries with 19, and scored another one in the 18-6 final triumph on home soil at the Eco-Power Stadium.

Doncaster also saw Connor Robinson end the regular season with the most goals and points scored in the third tier, tallying 84 and 200 respectively in the 18 regular rounds of the season. The Hull KR academy product scored 22 points in his team’s three play-off matches en-route to promotion, including six via three conversions in the final itself.
