In the first game of the weekend, Widnes Vikings comfortably beat Swinton Lions 38-6.

Salford forward Andrew Dixon featured for Widnes after arriving on a two-week loan from Salford earlier this week.

Barrow Raiders claimed the bragging rights as they won 32-16 against Whitehaven in a Cumbrian derby.

Shane Toal, Luke Cresswell, Jarrod Sammut, Danny Langtree and Anton Iaria all crossed for the Raiders, with Ryan Shaw kicking six goals.

It was a good win for London Broncos, who beat full-time opposition Toulouse Olympique 14-10 at the LNER Community Stadium.

Former New Zealand international Dean Whare scored for the Broncos having recently joined the club for the remainder of the season. Will Lovell scored London’s other try, with France international Anthony Marion bagging a brace for Toulouse.

Gareth Gale scored four tries to help Featherstone Rovers claim a 46-16 win over York Knights.

Gadwin Springer, McKenzie Yei, Connor Jones, Johnathon Ford and Thomas Lacans also scored for Rovers, who have a six-point cushion at the top of the Championship ladder.

Elliot Kear, Dane Manning, Josh Wood and James Meadows scored for Craig Lingard’s Bulldogs.

Bradford Bulls defeated neighbours Keighley Cougars 42-18 in a local derby at the Bash.
