Summer Bash 2018 fixtures revealed

The 2018 Summer Bash fixtures have been released and there are some exciting Championship clashes to look forward to at Blackpool in May.

The games will take place across the Bank Holiday weekend of 26 and 27 May at Bloomfield Road, home of Blackpool FC, for the fourth year in a row.

In 2017, the Bash brought a record attendance of 16,444 and it has been a huge success in the previous three years at the seaside resort. 

Newly-promoted Canadian outfit Toronto Wolfpack will play at the Bash for the first time as they take on Super League’s relegated side Leigh Centurions.

Barrow Raiders will kick the Summer Bash off as they take on Sheffield Eagles while Halifax will play Featherstone Rovers in a highly-anticipated battle. Toronto will face Leigh in the headline match of the day at 7:30pm.

Toulouse Olympique will play London Broncos on the first game on the Sunday while a Lancashire derby will take place between Rochdale Hornets and Swinton Lions before the final game of the weekend will be a Yorkshire derby as Batley Bulldogs play Dewsbury Rams at 5:30pm.

The weekend will again be shown LIVE on Sky Sports.

Saturday 26 May

Barrow Raiders v Sheffield Eagles (3pm)

Halifax RLFC v Featherstone Rovers (5:15pm)

Toronto Wolfpack v Leigh Centurions (7:30pm)

Sunday 27 May

Toulouse Olympique v London Broncos (1pm)

Rochdale Hornets v Swinton Lions (3:15pm)

Batley Bulldogs v Dewsbury Rams (5:30pm)
