Suaia Matagi could make his Huddersfield debut on Friday against an unchanged St Helens side.

Justin Holbrook has named an unchanged St Helens team to the one that was knocked out of the Challenge Cup by Catalans Dragons on Sunday. Matty Smith and Matty Costello could feature after not making the 17-man squad last week.

Huddersfield Giants coach Simon Woolford has made three changes to the one that beat Wakefield Trinity last time out. Matagi could make his debut for the Giants, while Jake Mamo and Kruise Leeming also come into the side. The trio replace Aaron Murphy, Michael Lawrence and Jake Wardle.

The Super 8s fixture takes place at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday, 7:45pm kick-off.

Saints 19-man squad: Lomax, Makinson, Percival, Swift, Fages, Smith, Roby, Amor, Taia, Wilkin, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Douglas, Knowles, Thompson, Richardson, Grace, Lees, Barba, Costello.

Giants 19-man squad: Mamo, McGillvary, Cudjoe, Turner, Gaskell, Brough, Leeming, Hinchcliffe, Ferguson, Rankin, Roberts, Ta’ai, Clough, Smith, O’Brien, Mellor, McIntosh, English, Matagi.
