Warrington sponsor Doodson have offered the club a £50,000 bonus if they achieve a Super League and Challenge Cup double in 2013.

The Wolves have won at Wembley in three of the last four seasons, and narrowly missed out on a double last year as they were beaten by Leeds in the Super League Grand Final.

Now specialist insurance brokers Doodson are offering a financial reward should Tony Smith’s men achieve double success this year.

Doodson Group Managing Director, Neil Clayton, said: “We have been sponsoring Warrington Wolves for a number of years, and in that time they have brought home the Challenge Cup trophy three times and also the League Leader’s Shield. It’s been a fantastic achievement. For the 2013 season we wanted to help inspire them to do the double and win the Grand Final too.

“We will be paying the team £50,000 if they win both the Grand Final and the Challenge Cup in 2013. The hope is the £50,000 is used to help fund further development of the club, helping them continue the great work they have done, both in the community and within the club itself.”

Warrington got their Super League season off to a winning start on Sunday, defeating Castleford 40-24 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
