Sitaleki Akauola to leave Warrington at season’s end

Warrington have announced that prop Sitaleki Akauola will leave the club at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old has made 67 appearances for the Wolves since arriving at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in 2018.

Akauola was part of the Warrington side that won the Challenge Cup at Wembley in 2019.

A club statement read: “Everyone at the club would like to thank Sita for his efforts and wishes him all the best for the next stage of his career.”

Akauola made 32 appearances in the NRL for Wests Tigers and Penrith Panthers prior to his move to Super League, and won a cap for Tonga in 2014.
