Scorpions prop faces ban

South Wales Scorpions prop Gill Dudson will appear before the RFL Disciplinary Committee on Tuesday after an incident in Sunday’s match against York City Knights.

Dudson has been charged with a Grade B offence for use of the forearm to the head of an opponent after a late and high tackle on the kicker in the seventh minute of Sunday’s 18-16 defeat to York.

The charge was issued following a meeting of the RFL’s Match Review Panel on Thursday.
