Sandercock blasts officials

Hull KR coach Craig Sandercock blasted the match officials after seeing his side beaten 50-30 at Huddersfield.

Sandercock criticised referee Thierry Alibert and his touch judges as Rovers fell to their sixth defeat of the season, with Shaun Lunt and Joe Wardle both scoring a brace of tries for the Giants.

He said: “I’m still scratching my head over some of the decisions.

“If the touch judge can’t see a forward pass from five metres away when it was 32-24 to Huddersfield then that’s embarrassing for the RFL.”

The defeat saw Hull KR lose their place in the top eight, with local rivals Hull leapfrogging them in to 8th place.
