Rochdale have signed youngsters Callum Wood and Nathan Reidy for the 2019 campaign.
Wood joins the Hornets following a successful trial period at the club.
The former England Academy international will join a number of young players in Carl Forster’s squad ahead of the new season.
On singing Wood, Forster said: “He has been great since joining us on trial and he’s earned the contract.
“He’s aggressive, skilful and willing to learn. I’m really looking forward to seeing Woody pull on a Hornets’ shirt.”
Front-rower Reidy arrives at the Hornets from Wigan Warriors’ academy.
Once a Salford Red Devils junior, Reidy will add strength to Rochdale’s pack in 2019.
On bringing in Reidy, Forster added: “Nathan brings in much needed size to our pack.
“He’s a big lad with good skills, he has come through a good system at Wigan and brings a lot of professionalism to the group.”
