Rochdale centre faces lengthy ban

Rochdale centre Jo Taira has been charged for striking Widnes’ half Jordan Johnstone and faces between three and five weeks out.

Taira has been given a Grade D for striking with the forearm. He was sin-binned in yesterday’s Challenge Cup match for the incident.
 
The following players have been cautioned by the match review panel:

Jack Hughes (Warrington) – Strikes with knee

Richie Myler (Catalans) – Tripping

Morgan Knowles (St Helens) – Dangerous Contact

Jimmy Keinhorst (Leeds) – Dangerous Contact
