Rochdale announce 2021 squad numbers

Rochdale have announced their squad numbers for 2021, with Fuifui Moimoi taking the number 17 jersey.

Former New Zealand and Tonga international Moimoi has joined the Hornets from fellow League 1 club Workington for the upcoming season.

The 40-year-old prop has made more than 300 career appearances for Parramatta Eels, Leigh, Toronto and Rochdale.

Former Widnes full-back Sam Freeman has been given the number one shirt at the Hornets this season, with ex-Wigan winger Shaun Ainscough taking number two.

Ireland international Jack Higginson and Wales international Gavin Bennion will wear four and 10 respectively. Experienced hooker Sean Penkywicz has retained the number nine jersey.
