Steve McNamara denies interest in Leeds job

Rhinos chief executive Gary Hetherington says he will also travel to Australia to continue the search for the club’s new head coach.

He told Wigan Today: “It’s a massive year for the club and we’ve had a good start. But we have to keep grounded and keep working because even teams who are lower in the league can bite you on the backside. Hopefully we can have a good year, especially for that 150th anniversary.”

Super League round seven saw an average attendance of 8,169 across the six fixtures.
