Croft, 25, enjoyed an exceptional debut season in Super League with the Red Devils, including seven tries in 26 appearances.

Brad Takairangi finds new club in Australia

Hull Daily Mail have reported that the 33-year-old has joined a team based in New South Wales.

He was one of 12 players to leave Craven Park at the end of 2022, and had been linked with a move to Keighley during the off-season.

Club legend Sam Burgess is believed to be involved in the negotiations, with Young off-contract at the end of 2023.

Elijah Taylor on Featherstone move

Taylor, 32, had been linked with a move to Wakefield, and revealed he even held discussions with his former club, New Zealand Warriors.


Former New Zealand Warriors, Huddersfield and Newcastle Thunder forward and new York recruit Ukuma Ta’ai turns 36 today (January 17).

Also celebrating; Ex-St Helens and Widnes centre Chris Dean (35), former England international Lee Mossop (34), ex-NRL half-back Beau Henry (33) and Welsh international brothers Connor Davies & Curtis Davies (26).


Only two Super League clubs are left to confirm their 2023 squad numbers – Castleford and Catalans.
