The RFL is investigating reports of crowd disturbance at Saturday’s Challenge Cup tie between Hull and Leeds.

Both clubs are believed to have received complaints from members of the crowd over the trouble during the Rhinos’ 48-24 win over the Airlie Birds in the fourth round clash.

An RFL statement said: “The RFL has received a report from the stadium’s ground safety officer and is working closely with Hull FC and Leeds Rhinos, both of whom are co-operating fully with the investigation.

“The RFL will be making no further comment until the investigation process is complete.”
