Iestyn Harris could be in the last days of his tenure as Salford Red Devils coach, with the 39-year-old unlikely to take charge of his team’s forthcoming game against Catalans.

BBC Radio Manchester reports that the 39-year-old is in talks about leaving the club.

The former Wales international took over from Brian Noble as coach in 2014, signing a two-year deal.

The news follows hard on the heels of a turbulent few days for Salford, with legal disputes ongoing between the club and Tony Puletua, as well as Kevin Locke leaving, and Tim Sheens being confirmed as director of rugby.
