Quartet face RFL disciplinary

Four Super League players will appear before the RFL Disciplinary Committee tonight after being charged with offences over the weekend.

Wakefield’s Kyle Bibb has been charged with a Grade A tackle which placed undue pressure on the shoulder joint of Hull FC’s Mike Burnett in the 78th minute at the KC Stadium last Friday.

Harlequins loose forward Rob Purdham has been charged with the same offence for a 54th-minute tackle on Sam Tomkins of Wigan Warriors at DW Stadium last Friday.

Bradford Bulls prop Nick Scruton has been charged with a Grade B high tackle on Hull KR’s Joel Clinton at Grattan Stadium Odsal on Sunday.

Hull Kingston Rovers centre Jake Webster will face the Disciplinary Committee to answer a charge making a Grade A high tackle on James Donaldson of Bradford Bulls in the 74th minute of the same match.

The RFL also issued formal cautions to Catalans prop David Ferriol, Warrington captain Adrian Morley and Wakefield duo Paul King and Jason Demetriou.
