Quartet cited after Hull derby brawl

Four players will face the RFL disciplinary committee following the all-in brawl near the end of Thursday’s Hull derby.

Hull KR pair Ben Cockayne and Liam Watts and Danny Tickle and Sam Moa of Hull have all been charged with Grade B offences and will appear before the committee on Tuesday evening.

Hull’s Jordan Tansey and Rovers’ Jason Netherton were cautioned for running into the fight and pushing opponents, while Moa also received a caution for a high tackle on Michael Dobson in the first half.

Wigan back-rower Joel Tomkins will be the fifth player up before the committee after being charged with a grade A offence for late contact on try-scorer Richie Myler during their clash with Warrington on Friday.
